Ari earned his first bachelor’s degree in psychology from Touro College before graduating from nursing school at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He gained experience as a bedside nurse in stroke telemetry, followed by inpatient psychiatry. He earned his master’s degree at Stony Brook University and then completed a rigorous two-year postgraduate residency program specifically designed for advanced practice psychiatric nurses.

In his day-to-day practice, he draws upon 15 years of experience in the field of mental health, which has included work in group homes, acute care, inpatient and emergency settings, home care, and everything in between.

Ari is passionate about incorporating his nursing background into his work with clients. He considers nursing to be the highest and most noble form of patient care and advocacy, striving to embody this with every client he treats.
